Pepper Harvest Trip • Day 1 • Mumbai India

While we are in India primarily to see the pepper harvest, we decided to rest for a few days in Mumbai first before heading down south to Kerala. I say the word rest while holding up those annoying air quotes with my fingers, because who can rest in a place like India when there is so much to see?

We arrived at 1:00 am and didn't get to bed until 4:00 am today. We slept late and got picked up by our guide, Ashwin, this afternoon.

We toured Bandra since that part of the city is closest to our hotel and we only had a few hours. This is the area of the city where the Bollywood stars live.

We stumbled on an Indian wedding and managed to get in the middle of it all for a few minutes.
